The Cove

This week has already been super exciting for me since Mrs. Pedrero and I last met. At our last mentor visit, I was able to discuss my product proposal with her and get some feedback in regards to the development of my case studies and pieces. I was also able to show her some of the new pieces I created since our meeting in January, as well as my new ideas. Moreover, I brought with me a new piece I had completed just a few days before, which she loved. Our latest mentor visit in particular was extremely exciting for me since she has given me the opportunity to be featured at an exhibition in Frisco. This was a complete surprise to me, and I am still so excited and blessed that Mrs. Pedrero has given me the chance to show two of my works at the Cove. With that in mind, my plans for this week is to flush out my art statements, prepare my own personal statement, get two more canvases, and purchase some archival UV varnish spray for my pieces. I also need to purchase a frame for one of my pieces in preparation for the showing at the Cove. Overall, I am looking forward to achieving my goals for this week with regards to both the showcase and creating more works of art.
