Research Machine

During this past week, one of my biggest accomplishments included writing, researching, and completing my second research assessment of the school year. The previous week I had written an interview assessment instead, so I was extremely excited to get the opportunity to explore new avenues of research last week. I knew that for my second research assessment I really wanted to target my research in a way that would help guide my original work. This past week, I discussed the basic idea for my original work with Coach Goff. With that in mind, I searched for an article that combined art-related research as well as aesthetics and judgement. In writing my research assessment, I now have gained a better understanding of how to effectively execute my original work and generate the most reliable data. Furthermore, I discovered a few errors and issues within the case study that I researched from the article that I will be sure to modify within my own study. In all, I am extremely hopeful for my original work. On another note, one of my major goals for this week is to reconnect with Mrs. Pedrero and ask her to be my mentor. I am hopeful that she will accept, and if not, I will conduct more research interviews to find another “artrepreneur” that would guide me throughout my ISM II journey.
