Original Work Week

Last week, I finally gained a mentorship with Mrs. Pedrero. Overall, I am extremely excited to begin my ISM journey as her mentee. I also solidified my idea for my original work in order to be prepared for my original work proposal. Based on my recent analysis that I made within my latest research assessment, I will create three works of art with varying degrees of abstract art, show the photos or pieces, and create a google form survey in order to see the different ways in which culture and aesthetic judgement impact the way we view art. My survey will also relay the influences culture, gender, artistic experience, and aesthetic development would also have on the way someone views art. Moreover, I reached out to Mrs. Pedrero to see if she could meet this week for my first mentor visit. During our mentor visit, I am planning on introducing my ideas to Mrs. Pedrero for advice. Last year, I did not have the opportunity to ask my mentor about my original work. Therefore, I am excited to have her advice on this project and how my original work could possibly correlate with my final product. By the end of this week, I will complete my original work proposal and hopefully schedule and complete my first mentor visit.
