New Projects

As of this week, I have finally finished my original work. Overall, I am super pleased about the artwork I have made during the first half of my ISM journey, and I am extremely excited to make more. Before my original work was due, I had a meeting with Mrs. Pederero so we could discuss my original work along with my future projects. I enjoyed learning from her feedback and applying it to my artwork. She also recommended that I shoot a video talking about my artwork along with my artist statements. This way, I can get better at talking about my art and presenting my work. Moreover, during our meeting, I also began to discuss with her some of my new ideas for the next few pieces. I had an idea for an abstract landscape concept, semi-abstract lemon bowl, and general abstract piece. I have a mentor visit scheduled for this Thursday at her studio, so I am super excited to continue developing these new artwork ideas. My overall goals for this week include finishing my digital portfolio, completing my original work assessment, and creating an underpainting and possible concept idea for my general abstract and lemon bowl pieces.
