ISM Part II

Starting off my second year in ISM, I have chosen to study Studio Art and Creative Entrepreneurship. Overall, I am extremely excited about starting my second and last phase of my ISM journey and I am ready to push the limits of what I can achieve through ISM. Despite it being the first week of in-person schooling, I’ve already completed my first informational interview and I have scheduled my second “in-person” interview on Tuesday, September 15th. I conducted my first informational interview with Mrs. Oliver-Foster, a professional artist and teacher at Reedy High School, with Coach Goff’s help. Overall, I think the interview went well, and I’m excited to conduct my second interview with Mrs. Pedrero, who is an internationally-collected artist. One of my goals for this week is to review my ISM questions and cater them to fit Mrs. Pedrero’s aesthetic and artistic journey. In addition to revising my informational interview questions, I will work on updating my official resume and waiting for Mr. Martinez to also respond to my interview questions. All in all, I am hopeful that I will achieve all of my goals this week and find a mentor that is willing to push me within my ISM journey.
