This week, I received Mr. Martinez responses via email. Getting the chance to read through and analyze an experienced, international artists’ journey was such an amazing opportunity. One of the biggest things I took away from his journey was his resilience and ability to control his future despite outside voices and extraneous opinion. In my analysis of Mr. Martinez journey, I found some striking parallels that correlated to Mrs. Foster’s artistic journey. Although both artists have different styles, stories, and progressions, both artists had to shut out outside negativity in order to truly progress. From both interviews, I ultimately gained an even better understanding of what it truly takes to thrive, improve, and progress as a creative mind. Moreover, I also drafted separate questions for Mrs. Pedrero’s interview and updated my resume to include my company, Aveen’s Art for A Cause. As of today, my interview with Mrs. Pederero is scheduled for the fifteenth and I am hopeful that it will give me more insight on how I want my ISM journey to look like. Overall, some of my major goals for this week include completing my interview, analyzing my responses, and sending out more emails to other artists in Frisco. By next week, I also want to consider sending an interview request to a leading psychologist to confirm if studying Studio Art and Creative Entrepreneurship is right for me.
