Business Symposium + Mentor Visit

Since last week, I spoke to Mrs. Pedrero in regards to my original work and our mentorship. During our first mentor visit, we discussed our mentor visit plans, procedures, and her thoughts in regards to my original work. Our conversation ultimately solidified my original work idea and helped me gain some insight on creating a timeline and mapping out my checkpoints to make sure I finish my project on time. I also have my second official mentor visit set for tomorrow, which is the exact same date and time as the business symposium. Unlike last year, the business symposium will be at home via zoom, which is something that I will be excited for, considering the fact that talking through Zoom is a bit less intimidating than meeting with someone in person. Nevertheless, I am excited to engage with a broad, diverse group of professionals in order to become more prepared for the business world. Also, I am excited to explore and gain more knowledge from Mrs. Pedrero in regards to art, art marketing, business, and practices. For the week to come, my main goal is to schedule time for me to paint, finish up the assignment that I get from Mrs. Pedrero, and ultimately start my calendar plan for my original work.
